China's rapid development and Sino-American relations have a direct impact on the lives of nearly everyone in the United States. CHINA Town Hall is a national conversation about China that provides Americans across the United States and beyond the opportunity to discuss issues in the relationship with leading experts.

This event will begin with a national webcast, followed by town hall-style discussions, with the goal of encouraging community members to talk candidly about their attitudes, concerns, and feelings surrounding the bilateral relationship. George Stephanopoulos will moderate this year’s webcast discussion; he will be joined by National Committee on U.S.-China Relations (NCUSCR) President Stephen OrlinsMelanie Hart, Yasheng Huang, and Ely Ratner. The local town hall-style discussion will be facilitated by Professor Qin Gao, Director of the Columbia China Center for Social Policy.

This event is part of the CSSW Election Series. Food will be served. CEs available.
