The National Committee of U.S.-China Relations presents CHINA Town Hall annually to provide Americans across the United States and beyond the opportunity to discuss issues related to U.S.-China relations with leading experts and local community members.
This year, the event started with a national webcast, moderated by George Stephanopoulos, ABC News Anchor. He was joined by expert panelists Stephen Orlins, Melanie Hart, Yasheng Huang, and Ely Ratner. The webcast was followed by a local discussion facilitated by Professor Qin Gao, Director of the China Center for Social Policy, with the participation of faculty members, students, alumni and Jan Berris, Vice President of the National Committee, concluding in a lively and enriching discussion on U.S.-China relationship.
This event was part of the CSSW 2020 Election Series. Other events in the Series include “Let My People Vote” Film Screening and Panel (Nov. 6); Social Workers and Voter Turnout (Nov. 13); Message Construction and Delivery (Nov. 20); Join the Campaign to Get Out The Vote (Nov. 27).
