Bio
Yuheng (Leila) Li (she/her) is a first-year graduate student at Columbia School of Social Work, focusing on Advanced Clinical Practice (ACP). Before pursuing her MSW at Columbia, Leila earned a BSc in Psychology with Education from University College London.
As a research assistant working with Dr. Qin Gao and doctoral student Stacie Tao, Leila is involved in conducting literature reviews, data analysis, and editing tasks. She is deeply committed to advancing social justice, particularly for individuals with intersecting racial and gender identities, such as Asian women and the Asian LGBTQ+ community. Using her research skills, she aims to raise public awareness about persistent inequalities and is dedicated to advocating for those in need.
