Yuwei Wu is an advanced clinical track graduate student at Columbia University School of Social Work with a strong interest in mental health and culturally grounded interventions. She is currently a Research and Administrative Assistant at the China Center for Social Policy, where she supports research translation and communications under the guidance of Professor Qin Gao.
Yuwei has been actively involved with the Social Intervention Group (SIG), contributing to the adaptation of the WINGS intervention to support women affected by intimate partner violence. With a background in psychology from the University of Michigan, Yuwei has also interned at a psychiatric hospital and an autism special care center in China, deepening her understanding of mental health service delivery across populations. She is committed to serving the China Center with compassion, curiosity, and a strong foundation in both research and clinical practice.
