Binpin Yang

Bio

Binpin Yang is a second-year graduate student at Columbia University School of Social Work in the Integrated Practice and Programming (IPP) track, with interests in aging, social policy, and community-based social services. She is currently a Research and Administrative Assistant at the China Center for Social Policy, where she supports the Center’s research, programming, and administrative initiatives under the guidance of Professor Qin Gao. Binpin has worked with older adults through community-based social services in New York City, gaining hands-on experience in aging services and community practice. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Visual Communication from the University of Sydney. Binpin is particularly interested in how social policy and community-based practice can contribute to the development of accessible and responsive social services in China.
