Xiaoran Wang

Bio

Xiaoran Wang is a doctoral student at the Graduate School of Social Service, Fordham University. She completed her undergraduate study in Labor and Social Security from China Youth University of Political Studies and received her MSW from Case Western Reserve University. Prior to coming to the US, she served as a community program coordinator in a county-level administration office in Beijing, China. During her MSW studies, Xiaoran was involved in serving Asian American immigrants and building partnerships for community safety in the Chinatown of Cleveland, Ohio. At Fordham University, she conducts social policy analyses on the impact of the termination of China’s one-child policy on child and parental well-being.
