Zijia He

Current Fellow

Zijia He is a master’s student in Quantitative Methods in the Social Sciences at Columbia Graduate School of Arts and Sciences. His research experiences center around China's domestic and foreign development policy, including China's poverty alleviation efforts, Chinese foreign investment, and the Belt and Road Initiative. Previously, he was associated with the Reconnecting Asia Project at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), the Asian Economies Department at the American Enterprise Institute (AEI), and the China Practice at Albright Stonebridge Group. He received his bachelor's degree from Claremont McKenna College, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa and his thesis was named the best thesis in international relations.
