Bio

Diane D. Williams is currently completing her PhD in Social Work focused on productive aging in older adult populations with specific attention on social integration and retirement. Diane earned a Master’s in Public Policy from the University of Chicago Harris School of Public Policy and a Master’s in Social Work from Columbia School of Social Work. Diane has recently worked on the American Association of Retired Persons (AARP) Disrupt Disparities Illinois Report which focuses on racial disparities among older adults across topic areas of economic security, health equity, and connectivity. Currently, Diane serves as a National Association of Social Workers (NASW) Illinois Delegate.
