Bio

Sam Han is a doctoral student at the Columbia University School of Social Work. She earned her master's degree in Social Work with a concentration in social welfare policy and family welfare and bachelor's degree in law from Yonsei University, Seoul, South Korea. Her current research interests include poverty, work, and human capital investment; cross-national comparative welfare policies and programs; and North Korean refugees.
